Woodbine Golf Course

Found this course that was close to home for only $16 so I thought I would take advantage of it. Nice course, extremely crowded for a Tuesday. Nothing special about the course, just a nice course to test your skills.

the fairways and greens are excellent.

Greens/Fairways always terrific here! However, they have a few (what used to be bunkers) that are now rock quarry's. Pace of play was horrible (maybe because the prior days weather) but we actually left after a 3.5 hour front nine. Weather (or not) that's too darn long!!

When the wind comes up Woodbine wins. The course is in good shape and drains well with all the rain the area has had recently.

Course was well maintained and the greens were very nice. Most of the holes were very open, lots of room for sliced shots. Our foursome did not start golfing until 45 minutes after the tee time that we booked. Staff at the course indicated they left a message the day before to explain the tee time would be moved 50 minutes back due to overbooking a morning tournament. However, there was no message left on the machine. Through the caller ID I was able to confirm that they called, but failed to leave a message. I called the supervisor of the course and he told me that in the last five years this has only happened once or twice. He did not care that our tee time was delayed 45 minutes and they failed to contact us. The management/staff were not helpful and did not offer anything for the inconvenience due to their mistake. One of our guys had to change his plans for that night since we finished later than anticipated. All four of us will not be playing this course again because of the way we were treated!

A begginers course with very wide fairways and flat true rolled greens. The course was in good shape. Not many hazards to deal with off the teebox. A scoring course to enjoy here

The course is in great shape. The value is good for the average golfer. The clubhouse is like new and food was good. I played on Mother's Day and it was wide open.

I got it for under 20. Course was well maintained and would def go back. Not too hard but still challenging at times.

The price was right. Our foursome had a great time

Tee time pushed a little bit due to a ton of people out to get a round in. With all the people, the round took a little longer than expected. Overall, well taken care of and a great day of golf.

With the weather we had this past week the course was in great shape. There were some spots of standing water and mud but overall it was in great. I look forward to playing this course later this summer when it dries out and the sand traps are fixed.

It has been a couple years since I have played Woodbine. I played it because it came up on on Golfnow. I wish I had come to play sooner. The staff was super nice. The course is looking great. It is fun course. It is very playable, even if you slice it to the next fairway ( not that I am admitting I did that a couple times.). This is a great course for all levels.

I shared the course with only about 12 other golfers it was in fine shape even due to a lot of rain staff was very nice and a thought the greens were in good shape I will play this course again
