Nice Course. Mixed reviews on staff
Really nice course. They have 27 holes, and you play 2 nine hole courses. Well maintained. Greens were maybe a 10. Staff was a bit dismissive at checkin, didn't offer to take my golf bag. Other than that, was quite pleasant.
Lots of doglegs, bunkers, water. Lots of fun!
Pretty challenging. Lot of doglegs and blind shots. Lots of water and bunkers. Number 8 on the Island side is a beauty, tree in the middle of the fairway about 200 out from the green. The greens were slower than they looked, Took me nine holes to figure it out. Course was in very god shape. Nice layout, design and scenic. Staff very attentive. Lots of fresh cold water with lemon wedges!
good track
Course in really good shape except for the bunkers. Highland nine weren't raked at all by the grounds crew. Woodland nine had about four holes done. A lot of players need to fix their ballmarks. All in all course in good condition.
Great course
For the value with 20% off the course is a great challange. Not sure i would pay 100% but would continue to book through golf now. THere were heavy rains the night before so some wet spots on the course but otherwise course was in great shape.
Indian Lakes one of the solid, challenging West Suburban tracks
Played Indian Lakes a few times this year, and they do a good job keeping the course in good shape. Plays firm and is well kept - not overwatered like 90% of courses in the area. Could use a little better bunker drainage, but it's made up for by having quality, consistent greens.
Just enjoyable and some features.
All ok except green. So slow due to recent heavy rain ?????
Good value depending on cost of round.
When you can get this course for $50 or less with a cart, it is a steal. Usually you pay closer to $90 which is overpriced for this course. There are 3 nine hole courses. I would recommend the island 9 as part of your round. In my opinion, the other two nines are less creative.
Very Nice Course
The course was in great condition for the price. They really kept the pace of play going, and we never really got backed up on any of the holes.
pretty well maintained, but the play was slow
I thought the course was pretty maintained. Maybe because of the 4th of July holiday, the pace of play was very slow. A lot of beginner or golfers that don't play often that were out there.
Pace of Play is awful
Had an 8:00am tee time on 4th of July. Now I realize that I am not going to be able to play a 4 hour round on a holiday, but it took 1.5 hours to play 5 holes. We were stuck behind a foursome that was playing from the back tees, and had no business doing so. The rangers and starter wouldn't tell them to move up, and when we complained we were met with "well, it's a holiday". They send off their groups here every 7 minutes, which is way to close for a busy day and amounts to more than 5 hour rounds, for $70 I expect more. It's a fun course to play, but if it's busy, go somewhere else.
Good Value
Liked the GPS. Course was OK. Greens a bit inconsistent, a bit too slow. Cart was one of the slowest carts ever.
Horrible!
Not much to say. The course is over-priced and needs a lot of attention....and grass. Some fairways are absolutely bare.
Golf pro was very rude and waitresses didn't speak good English
The golf pro was very rude and waitresses barely spoke English. This was a bad experience.
It was getting cloudy outside and we were standing outside. The pro came up to me and said, "how many time's do I have to tell you to get inside." I had just got there and didn't know they were calling everyone in. Later another man was outside and the pro told him, "You get inside or I'm going to kick you out." This is not a person they should have greeting customer's.
Great from the White Tees
I played the Woodlands and the Highlands on a Saturday afternoon. The starter was extremely friendly, explaining the GPS set up and directions on how to reach the second 9 hole course. We played from the white tees. They play well if your drives average in the 220-230 range. The course is very well kept. Fairways are firm, but well maintained. Greens are medium to large with little wear, even for a Saturday. Speed was medium even after some rain. The rough penalizes you just enough to weigh playing conservative at times. Busy, but not crowded and a lot of fun.
Pretty Solid!`
This is an interesting course with a lot of variety. If you hit it into the right spots, you'll score well, but it will get you if you're in the wrong direction. Pace of play was pretty decent for a weekend morning.
Great course and found a great deal on GolfNow. The greens were very nice.
Overall great course. The only problem is that there was heather surrounding the edge of each bunker, which gave you a few bad breaks where you wouldn't get caught in that instead of the bunker. If that is taken care of then the course is in near pristine condition and very challenging.
Great Course, Bad Weather
Great challenging course with many bunkers lined with tall grasses, wish the weather was nice. Happy B-Day Bro
This is a great resort course.
With 3 9-holes, this course offers a variety to challenge every level of golfer
Course in very good condition
I love to play this course a couple times a summer. Always in great condition and is a good value.
Lots of sand traps.
The course has 3 nine hole courses. All are challenging and in good shape. The greens are well trapped and there is some water to deal with also. Pleasant staff, very cordial. Some crazy pin placements on the day we played. The par threes cut the hole right in the middle of the slope on a couple, it was like a mini golf course. Not quite fair but that's the only time I've seen them do that.
