Trevino at Geneva National Golf Club
About
Geneva National Golf Club is the second largest golf facility in Wisconsin, offering three championship courses, each designed by golf pros Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, and Lee Trevino. The courses are abundant with scenery, provided by the rolling countryside that sits along the banks of Lake Como, but they are also conveniently located just a short drive from metropolitan Chicago and Milwaukee. The Trevino Course may be the least difficult of the three but that doesn't mean it is without its fair share of challenges. It has the least amount of water of any of the three courses but it does make a memorable appearance on the par-3 fifth hole where a stream cuts across not once but twice. There may be little water, but plenty of strategically placed bunkers will keep you on your toes.

5.25 hour round
Loooooong afternoon. Got there early to warm up and they were out of carts. Have a drink while waiting? Nope, no one was around to take an order. Finally get on course and 5.25 hours later we were finally done. At one point 3 groups were on the par 3 17th…
Staff was Great
Love the GN courses. The staff made an extra effort, from the pro shop to the halfway house. Value is excellent for a nice resort course. Pace of play this time was about 5 hours and even for a Sunday in August, that is very slow.
Geneva National - Trevino
Perfect weather, courteous staff, course condition, pace of play..
Great, great, great..
Beautiful old growth trees and wildlife!!!!
The trees that line the fairways and beyond are beautiful old growth and nice to see. Also saw few deer and turkey wandering around. Greens are fast and hard to read but such a beautiful golf course.
Challenging track and good conditions
Trevino is one of my favorite courses, a challenging track, but very fair. Greens in excellent shape.
Course is first rate. Some work being done around a few tee boxes, not impacting play. Course in great shape. Staff is friendly and welcoming. A great course, my favorite of the 3.
Amazing people
The staff is a great mix of seasoned golf enthusiasts and next generation that is already obsessed with golf. Course is in excellent shape and the pace was perfect.
