Trevino at Geneva National Golf Club
About
Geneva National Golf Club is the second largest golf facility in Wisconsin, offering three championship courses, each designed by golf pros Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, and Lee Trevino. The courses are abundant with scenery, provided by the rolling countryside that sits along the banks of Lake Como, but they are also conveniently located just a short drive from metropolitan Chicago and Milwaukee. The Trevino Course may be the least difficult of the three but that doesn't mean it is without its fair share of challenges. It has the least amount of water of any of the three courses but it does make a memorable appearance on the par-3 fifth hole where a stream cuts across not once but twice. There may be little water, but plenty of strategically placed bunkers will keep you on your toes.

Excellent course
Have played several times over last year. Remarkably different courses with so much to enjoy on each
Golfer
3:45 tee off, NO carts available. 4 hours and 30 minutes just finished 13 holes. Left the course. Spoke with Drew assistant pro he he was more concerned with the fact they 266 players. No starter or rangers. Per Drew they must have left at 3:30.
Great course but there is NO reason for that pace of play. Maybe don’t continue to take tee times?
Decent
Decant course; good condition. Lee designed the layout based on his game which is a fade. Left to right is common on many holes, which doesn’t favor my draw but I knew that going in. Nice but I prefer Player and Palmer over this course. Great staff and facility, but we didn’t see the beverage cart a single time during our round!
Golf with grandsons
First time we played with two of our grandsons and had a wonderful day. Notithstanding cart, there is still a fair amount of walking due to zones around greens and topography. A little tiring for a 70+ grandma.
Great Gem in Lake Geneva
I’ve been playing this course since Geneva National opened. I play it 2-3 times each year. I think it gets better each time I play it. It was in pristine condition. The bunkers are impeccable, greens fast and true. Fairways look amazing.
Great Experience
Great course. Staff extremely friendly. Had a great time.
Father’s Day Delight
Played in a twosome in 3 1/2 hours. Front nine is a really nice challenge but the back is no pushover. The greens are big so if your short game is off, you can expect some three jacks.
Ranger
My brother and I have played this course many times for over 15 years. Normally, staff is good and supportive and I recommend the course.
This time was different. We were never more than 3 minutes behind pace and yet the Ranger felt it necessary to go with us for 7 holes in a row. We were obviously very annoyed and it affected our enjoyment at Geneva National Trevino.
We will be evaluating our options in the future.
Not worth the money
Nice course and clubhouse. Pace of play was a joke and had to wait 10 minutes on every box from hole 3 to 18. Driving range was closed and was not told this ahead of time. Save your money and try aomelther courses in the areas.
