Pinecrest Golf & Country Club

Was very pleasantly surprised. It was raining just before I got there and then the sun came out. Course dried out very quickly. Nice layout, with a variety of tee boxes to challenge golfers of various skill levels. Pace of play slowed on the back 9, but other than that for a weekend round it was very enjoyable.

Great condition and fun to play. Would recommend to anyone that loves to play as you won’t be disappointed.

The course really held up despite 3" of rain right up till tee time. Pond overflow was being pumped away on several fairways. Sand traps were remarkably 50% playable.
My playing partner was graciously accommodated with a riding cart on the back nine.
Really appreciate the effort the staff must be putting in here, and the price is right!

$49 to walk is outrageous. Course is very short and overpriced. This course is normally a $25-30 round prime time on the weekends. Lots of other course in the area that are better all around

Good value course. The greens are in better condition than a lot of other courses in the area. Well maintained course with a driving range. Pace of play was a bit slow but every course I have played in the area has similar pace of play.

Course was in good shape. Had a 10:00am Saturday tee time, was told we wouldn’t be teeing off until 10:25am. Not a good start. Things just unraveled from there, at one point there were 5 groups including ours between the 16th fairway and the 18th fairway. Been playing this course for over 20 years and today was the day I swore I will never play here again on a weekend sadly.

They need to keep the rough in better shape - it is extremely long. Most holes are standard but I would prefer to okay other courses in the area for the price. Greens were fair but the fringe needed to be touched up on nearly every hole.

Great course, extremely friendly staff, and overall great experience

Only issue today was they had a 90 golfer outing just ahead of us so play was slow. Outside of that, Pinecrest is always a well kept track which I play a few times every year.

We were on time for tee time and for some reason the starter let other groups out ahead of us including a group that was a half hour ahead of their league time. We got to the turn and were told we couldn't play the next nine because there was a league going out and we finished our nine too late. It wasn't because of our pace of play but due to the fact we started late. We had the option to take a nine hole rain check or play the same nine again. Totally ruined the round and the day. Very poor management and customer service. Not sure we'll be back.

I found the to be very tough to play if your a average golfer. If you don’t always hit the fairways, you can get in big trouble. But the course is a good value when the Golfnow app is used.
