It's ok
I have played this course twice. It's a short course with only 1 par 5, as a result you will find a lot of families and other slower players. The fairways are well maintained but they leave the grass very high even in the first cut so if you don't land in the fairway it's like you are hitting out of hazard on every shot. Not sure if they do this on purpose due to the lack or water or bunkers on the course or its just poor maintainance. Both times I went it was super crowded with a short wait on each hole. I probably won't play here again unless I have too.
The course was great for my wife who is learning to play the game.
The course is in good shape. It has a nice easy lay out and is pretty forgiving for the average golfer. Green fees are a little to high for this course. There are nicer and better courses in the same price range..
rude staff
I showed up for what i thought was my reserved tee time. However, it turns out that i had accidentally reserved it for the next day. I totally accepted responsibility for that mistake on my part, and politely apologized to the staff for my mistake when they pointed it out to me. However, I was still chastized by the staff for my honest mistake to the extent that i decided to not even show up the next day for my already-paid for tee time.
Friendly athmosphere
Professional staff and very good service. I'll recommend it to my group.
Tougher than it sounds
Bonnie Dundee is a par 69 municipal course. We played immediately after a hard overnight rain. Greens rolled well, but a little slow. Rough was up; not unfair, but it was tough to play from. Fairways were in good shape. Sand was beautiful, even after the rain.
good
Nice open course, maintained fairly well.Good for begginers to moderate players.
We play here a few times during golf season
They have some good deals here The course is kept in good condition
Great shape, great price, great day
I'll admit, I had read some bad reviews on this place before so I was a bit skeptical, but I would definitely come back again. Booked a 4some and got a great deal for $23/person around 10am on a Saturday. Other tee times here were going for $40 and up, but i would look for it to be under $35 for it to be really worthwhile. It had rained for a few days prior so I was concerned that the course might be pretty swampy, but it was in great shape. Rough was a bit long, but tee boxes, fairways, and greens were all pristine. We had great sunny weather, and because the forecast showed rain for most of the week, the course was a bit empty. It's par 69, but over 6000 yards so challenging enough where it's fun for the better players and wide open enough for the high handicappers. Nobody in a cart selling drinks, but staff was polite and bartender was great. I plan on playing this course a few more times this year if I find a deal like that again.
senior one of great course.
kind staff. nice and comfortable course. can enjoy by everybody.
Challenging but won't kill you.
This is a great course to get your game back in gear. You can dial in your full swing drives without a lot of fear. Almost all wayward shots are recoverable from the next fairway and the rough in between is short so you won't lose a lot of balls. The course is also nicely maintained so you don't feel like you're in an old farm pasture - even though you are:)
Decent course. It's only about three miles from my home.
It was a beautiful day. With my brother in town from Arizona, I had to step up my game, and I did. I shot an 86, my best score ever. He shoots low-mid eighties golf all of the time, so it is nothing for him. He ended up shooting an 85, even though he worm burned his first three drives!
