Slow play ruined day
This is a sporty course with only one true par 5 and not much water or deep rough. It's one that even average golfers should be able to play at a good pace. It should never take more than 4 hours to play. Our threesome waited on every shot, and every tee. It was a ridiculous 5 hour round. At the turn, there were 3 groups ahead of ours. Took all of 5 hours which you can understand at a difficult, long layout but not here.
good condition
Good course to work on your game. While easy you still need to hit all the shots, driver, fairway woods, irons, and greens are good for putting. Slower than most courses but hold approach shots well. Sand is great, not too deep or shallow. Good value and pace is fine, 3 hours. Advertised discount rates do not include cart.
Perfect course for the average golfer
Brought White tees up this year to speed play up & made things a touch easier for the average golfer. I like it!
Good greens
Good greens , with a fair amount of difficulty. We played a fast round but had to pass a few very slow groups
Nice easy and straight forward
Just a nice little Muni course nothing fancy . It is a well maintained and a nice easy round of golf. staff was friendly had a good day of golf on a good course.
Course in good shape
The course was in great shape, fairways cut just right rough not too long and the greens putted true.
Nice course for tight line practice
Most white tee boxes are the same distance with red and way too far from blue. Recommend blue tee boxes if you're somewhat a long hitter.
Very pricey comparing to other nicer courses around.
Don't do it
I will never play here again. Not worth the $30 to play. Every other course in the area is more fun than here and the course was in great shape!
Hidden gem
I could not believe the excellent condition of the course. The course is not the longest, but the conditions rivaled courses such as Kemper Lakes and Macray.
Bonnie dundee
Course is nice, well maintained. Big long course and very fun.
Quick 18
I have played bonnie dundee several times but this was the smoothest round yet, and it was a saturday afternoon. greens were nice... Course is looking good.
The Right Amout of Challenge for Mid Handicap Golfers
This course is on the shorter side, being just over 6,000 yards from the back tees and only a 69 par. However, fairways are fairly open, making it a forgiving course. Very little water on this course too, only 1-2 holes. Although the course is short, strategically placed sand traps and some tight doglegs allows players to attack this course in multiple different ways. Whether you want to lay up or go for the green, you'll have opportunities to do both.
Greens, fairways, and tee boxes were all in pretty good shape. Although it seemed evident that the back 9 isn't played nearly as often as the front, as the tees were much cleaner and had less wear.
I would recommend this course for mid handicappers as a course that will challenge yo,u without making you want to throw your club in the water hazard (because there aren't any). Good course for the price!
First timer
Good casual outing for my birthday.
Not too long boosted confidence.
Good bloodied and pulled pork.
No driving range.
Slow play
We signed up for 18 holes. Waited on every hole. Played through the 10th and gave up. We jumped to the middle of the 13th and played throughout the 16th.
All told it took us 4+ hours to play 13 1/2 holes. Delay was a foursome that we passed on the 12th hole. No ranger in sight.
Bonnie Dundee
The pace of play for the course was great especially for a Saturday morning. Played it in about 3.5 hours. The course was in great shape.
Course conditions.
They really need to remove the leaves on the fairways and on the greens. Everyone was looking for there golf balls all day long. This made for a VERY long day, plus the fact that a lot of missing and lost golf balls also.
Old Style Course
Played on a cold October day,but three of us played in three hours.Old course good for beginners.Only one water hole on a short par three.Fairly wide open with some trees.Smallish greens. Most are well bunkered.Need your own gps cuz yardage markers are few.
Nice course
I thought the course was very nice. Good condition even for this late in the season. Will definitely play again.
only 9 holes open
I've golfed the course trillions of times. It was very disappointing to show up and find out they were aerating the front nine so we golfed the back nine twice. I don't know if GolfNow or Bonnie Dundee is to blame. (At least we got a hot deal, otherwise I would've been really hot!)
Nice course for a relaxing round of golf!
Bonnie Dundee was a joy to play; The layout is short but at a Par of 69, fair for the average amateur, the rough isn't too harsh, and the bunkers and greens are in good condition, though the greens are not too fast. The staff are polite and helpful - I would recommend Bonnie Dundee as a good value, and will play there again..
