Nickol Knoll Golf Club
About
Ever since opening in the mid '90s, Arlington Heights Golf Club has been considered one of the best par-3 golf courses in Chicagoland. It is certainly one of the most unique with three holes that feature vertical-drop tee shots and two holes with uphill tee shots to the green. Although this nine-hole course is only 1,163 yards the large bentgrass tees and greens provide the feel of a full-length course. The layout has nearly 30 bunkers strategically placed throughout and water comes into play on two holes. From the elevated tees you can enjoy a panoramic view of the area, including stunning vistas of the Chicago skyline. Whether you're a beginner looking to get some practice or a scratch golfer who wants to get in a quick round, Arlington Heights Golf Club is a fun and challenging option.

Good Course
Good Course par 3's all around short drives. A lot of up Hill walking
Nice executive track
Course was wide open and in really good shape on a Saturday afternoon after a big storm. Everything nice at this hidden gem executive course that will help you tune up your short game, however disappointing that too many golfers are not repairing their ball marks on the greens!
Great course
Everything about this course is incredible the views, the holes, the fairways, however, the rough areas need to be cut a little shorter. It is way too easy to lose a bar 2 inches off the course
Like The Elevation Changes
Played with my graddaughter who is a beginner. We had been playing on a very level course and she liked played here because there are lots of elevation changes.
Course in good shape
Only drag is that hole locations appear to be a few days old, maybe a week old on the practice green. Cup edges were not clean cut; grass is growing into the inside of the lip meaning they are mowing over the existing hole locations, rather than mowing the green and cutting a new hole location after mowing. Practice green holes are way worse than on-course holes.
This course would benefit greatly from placing divot mix bins by each set of tee off markers -- (see how they do It at Grayslake golf course)
Good course for beginners
I am a beginner golfer, so I like the course and it's easy to get a tee time. I do think the price is starting to creep up a bit though for playing 9 holes. Otherwise, always enjoy my time there.
