East at Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa
Situated just outside of Galena, Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa offers three 18-hole championship courses and one nine-hole course that are nestled amongst rolling, wooded hills. The General, North, and South Courses are the championship layouts while the East Course is the nine-hole course. The East is not long at 2,648 yards but don't underestimate its level of difficulty.

Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa boasts three championship courses as well as a nine-hole course. The South, North, and the General are the three championship courses. Of the three, the General is the most well known for its challenging layout but the South and the North manage to stand out on their own. The South Course was carefully carved from a heavily forested valley that is divided by a stream, which comes into play on 11 holes.

The North Course is one of three championship courses offered at Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa. The North is joined by the South and the General and there is also the nine-hole East Course at the resort. The North is the second most challenging of the three championship golf courses after the General. The North is slightly less difficult and it is also more playable.

The General at Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa is the most well known of the resort's three championship golf courses. It has been ranked as one of the top 100 courses in the country. The rolling, wooded hills provide a dramatic setting for the course. 250 feet of elevation changes provide stunning views of three different states: Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin.

One Visit to The General, and You Won't Believe You're Still in Illinois
Eagle Ridge Resort in Galena features three 18-hole golf courses, and a very user friendly, but equally challenging 9-hole course. The North and South courses, designed by Roger Packard, have been favorites among Illinois golfers for years. It wasn't until the construction of "The General" in 1997, that Eagle Ridge started getting national exposure. Proof of this was confirmed recently with Golf Magazine's ranking of No. 52, amongst the "Top Courses You Can Play."
