Best bang for your buck
Love this course. They had a frost delay which obviously is out of their hands but I continue to make the drive out to Orchard because its the best bang for your buck. If this was in Wheaton or Naperville it would be $100 a round

Great course for off-season play
Course was in good condition considering it's February. Love playing this course anytime I can. Highly recommended.
Temporary (winter)Greens are awful
This is a good course for average golfer. However, they close the regular greens for winter and use the fairway close to the green as temp greens. These temp greens are awful. It would be nice to roll the temp green -- may be once a week? The water hazards attract a lot of Canada geese and they graze on the fairway and leave a mess. Almost every hole on the course is on or very close to a water hazard and you can imagine the amount of "stuff" you collect on the bottom of your shoes!
Strategically Built to Create a Fun Round
I played this course for the first time today, and I was super impressed with not only the condition of the course, but how it was laid out. It forces you to be strategic about your shots and to be accurate. Many of the holes are really protected by hazards, which forces you to stick your wedges.
I will certainly be back!
One of the best local courses
The course conditions and pace of play improved after a management change. More rakes are needed in some bunkers. Public courses need to ask golfers to fill divots, take bunkers and repair pitch marks.
5:30 tee time
Had 5:30 tee time. Got off early because group ahead wasn't ready. Only backed up couple times through 9.
Open back nine most pairings seem to stop at 9.

The Bunkers Need Some Work
The golf course was in good conditions overall but they need to improve the bunkers. I know it’s early in the season, so I will give them a pass for now but expect this issue to be resolved by the next time I play there.
