About
The 27-hole course at Schaumburg Golf Club is divided into three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations that range from just over 6,000 yards to 6,700 yards. The Tournament, Baer, and Players Courses all provide a unique set of challenges but they share the same great conditions on their tees, greens, and fairways. Schaumburg has been host to numerous events since opening in 1928, including the U.S. Open Qualifying and Illinois Open Qualifying tournaments. It is a popular course since the club offers country club amenities and quality with the affordability of a public golf course. Schaumburg's Players/Baer combination starts out with a few tricky carries over water on the front nine and a more forgiving back nine. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout the course, however.

Great Experience
The staff was very friendly and helpful from check in, to on course beverages to bar/restaurant after the round. We played the Players course and the signage could have been slightly better in terms of directions for a couple of the holes at the beginning of the 9. The starter did explain the zig, zagging thankfully or I would have had no idea where to go.

Best conditioned course I’ve played this season
The greens and bunkers at Schaumburg GC are among the best I’ve played all year. I paid $45.00 with a small bucket to walk. Their Senior rates are 55 and older. The only downside was the pace of play. We had an 8:30 Monday tee time, we were the fourth group out. We didn’t get off the course until almost 1 PM, which on a Monday is unacceptable. We waited on every hole! That was the only disappointment
Really Nice Place
Played Schaumburg many times over the past decade and things continue to improve here. Recent course improvements are all grown in and bunker upgrades are fantastic. Got around in 4hrs on a perfect golf day Friday afternoon. Great restaurant and patio too.
Great course!
Course was in pristine condition from the tee boxes to fairways, bunkers to greens, everything was in excellent shape. It’s a fun layout with a good amount of variation between holes. Clubhouse is nice with a patio to grab a drink or bite to eat after your round. It’s my second time golfing here and I will definitely be back for more.
