Excellent Course
Excellent Course. Many interesting holes. Conditions were excellent as well. 5 tees so you can find one to suit your ability level.
Once again my wife and I had a very enjoyable time at Deer Park
Great staff and fun to play course
Really great staff and fun course. I will be returning in the future
Deer Park
Course in fine shape. Not the toughest but not too easy. Played as a Single in 3 hours on a Sunday
Fun in the sun
Very enjoyable playing at Deer Park today my wife and I have played there 5 times in 10 days and found our outings and the course in great shape and we both had great fun
A nice course that is worth a round
A nicely maintained course with a few challenging holes. A nice clubhouse, friendly waitstaff, and the nicest golf carts you have ever played in.
Course was in great shape, new ownership has already been working and have added so new cart paths it was a wonderful experience and my wife and I enjoyed ourselves and hope to play there again
Course was in really good shape. Today the greens were very fast.
Absolutely awesom
Great course for all levels. Excellent staff and lots of different weekly things going on. If your in the area you need to golf here.
Wonderful Parkland mixing new and old
This place is a solid 4 stars. Course is well maintained and a decent design except for sand traps which were a tad muddy and some puddles. A nice clubhouse with horseshoe bar restaurant area overlooking the older part of the course with a lovely patio. Locker room with showers and towels. Several water jugs on course. Greens rolling nicely and fairly swift (aerated early Sept with good recovery). Driving range, practice chipping green and putting green. Well worth the drive just past Starved Rock State Park with a $10 hot deal....an absolute steal.
Established in 1904 the course's original 9 hole layout has been routed to intersperse the newer holes built on farmland now with mid-size trees. Both nines finish with the older holes and simply put a wonderful mashup. The course isn't overtly taxing however the old part of the course was truly a joy to play with great sight lines and required strategery routing through big trees. Experiencing the Par 3 eighth is a highlight of my season this year a very nice short par 3 with a devilish tiered up the hill green. A rolling straightaway par 5 finishes the front nine and you hardly realize the front nine only contains one par 3 and one par 5. The back nine finish is really spectacular from an old school aspect with a Par 5 routed though trees then a longer Par 3 tucked into the corner of the forested property and finishes with yet another Par 5 a sharp dogleg right requiring a very well struck/placed tee shot to set up your 2nd shot towards the clubhouse. Place has a nice comfortable vibe to it and the folks and players there are very welcoming and friendly. Recommend.
Great course
First time playing this course. Course in great shape. Nice layout and forgiving with some tough holes to challenge you.
Deerpark
Great course in wonderful shape for this time of year. Will be beautiful this fall.
Hole in one
We enjoy golfing here, nice staff and the course is very women friendly. Disappoint in the staffs response to my hole in one on 15, showed the guy in the pro shop and it was like no big deal with him. Never took down any information about me are my hole in one. I guess they see several a day here so it's no big deal for them.
