Fun time golfing
Arrived earlier than t-time and was able to get on the course. Course in good shape. Never had to wait on golfers. Pace was steady. Long and short holes. Water and sand on a few, lost a few balls, I hate water! We will play again. Friendly service.
Nice for beginners
It is a nice short course in very good shape for a small town. I got stuck behind some hacking ladies and they didnt think to let me play through till the 16th tee. Just a hole ahead of them was another pair that was taking its time. They could use a ranger and some water. No water on the course anywhere and no cart coming around. But still given my level of play it was pretty nice and cheaper than the Decatur Munis.
Great Day for Golf
The course had a couple tournaments going on which ran into our tee time so we weren’t able to tee off until 45 minutes or so past our tee time. Brad, the Golf Pro, felt terrible about it, continually apologized, and provided free drinks to out foursome because of the delay. But as soon as the first couple carts came in from the tournament, he had as out on the course. It was a wonderful day for golf, weather was great, course was in great shape, greens were smooth, and the staff was so personable and friendly. We had booked our tee time thru “Tee-Off” at a great rate. It was a spectacular day. Even with the delay, we were not at all disappointed. Will definitely be back soon.

Awesome course !
This course is very fun to play! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Greens were very nice for just having been aerated and the rough was forgiving. Fairways we narrow but well maintained. Had a little tee box maintenance going on and some of the tee boxes were a little wavy. Greens were challenging for such an low rating and slope. Overall this is a great course and I’m definitely going back.
Narrow fairways, forgiving rough
The course has very narrow fairways but the rough is cut pretty low. There are enough water holes to keep things interesting and a couple of challenging par 3s. It can get very windy. Have played it a few times in the last few years and never saw a crowd.
