Senica's Oak Ridge Golf Club
About
Senica's Oak Ridge Golf Club sprawls across gently rolling terrain that was used to guide the design. The resulting layout blends in almost seamlessly with the natural landscape. The golf course is routed through forests of mature oak trees and around five sparkling lakes. The back nine plays along a meandering creek. Water hazards come into play on a total of 13 holes and there are nearly 50 bunkers strategically placed throughout. The golf course demands a fair amount of accuracy but it's not overly punishing if you're errant. The final hole plays from an elevated tee, requiring a carry over the creek in order to reach the green. In addition to the golf course, Oak Ridge also offers a practice facility with a driving range, two practice greens, and a practice bunker.

Fairways are better than the greens at Chapel Hill. Greens are some of the best around.
oak ridge
nice course in good condition, bent grass from tee to green, bunkers are currently under repair
Semi as Oak Ridge
Good layout, variety of holes. Very accommodating staff. Local knowledge important as some of the greens were tough to read. Definitely will return.
Saturday Fun Riund
Enjoyed the layout. A couple of blind shots, but manageable. Greens were in great shape and the undulation was fun. We played from the blue tees and this was a good scoring track, if you kept your wit. Play the course, don't let the course play you.
Love this course
I have played this course several times and always enjoy it. Very scenic and well cared-for. Challenging for all levels yet forgiving for us 20 handicappers! Wish I lived closer -- I'd play here every week!
Hidden Gem
Excellent challenging course for all handicaps
Great Course
My group had a very enjoyable time. Layout and tee box choices make it challenging, but not too hard, for any level of golfer. The regular green fees and cart prices are a little steep for this area, but when you find a Hot Deal on GolfNow, it's more than worth the money to play. Great staff and beverage cart on the weekend made for an even more enjoyable day.
Could not have been better
Perfect course. Perfect day.
Senica oaks
Kitchen was closed on Monday but otherwise a perfect experience.
Great course
I'd definitely go back. Course was in great shape. Staff was helpful.
Great Greens
The greens at Senicas Oak Ridge were impeccable. I'm a 12 HCP and I shot 76 (personal best) because the greens were such a pleasure to putt on. They were smooth and fast. But not lightening fast. The back nine has lots of mature trees. Very pretty. If you are looking for value for the money. This is hard to beat!
Fun course... the scenery on holes 14-18 is very nice
I play this course a few times a year and always enjoy it. The parking lot was packed on a Wednesday for my 1:00pm tee time and I thought pace of play was going to be an issue for our twosome but it was not. Only complaint was greens were very hard. Holes 14-18 along the wooded west side of the course are some of my favorite for courses in this area.
Always A Great Experience
Course is about an hour away but I drive a couple times a year because the staff is friendly and it's a great course for the money.
Great Maintained Course!
The course was in great shape. Some bunkers do need to be taken care of better with large rocks in them which would be my only bad thing to say about this course. Really nice greens and fairways.
