Hidden Gem
My husband and I enjoy playing the Emerald course. It is their 9 hole course and not as busy as the Blue & Gold. The fairways and greens are kept up nicely but they should work on the sand traps which are filled with weeds and very little sand. Signage is good but could use a little improvement on some holes. Overall it is a great course to play and we will definitely go back for another round of 9 holes.
Good for beginners - leisurely golf
I played this course to get out golfing with my wife who is really bad. This course was good because it wasn't crowded and we didn't have anyone behind us until an outing started toward the end of the round. Course conditions are okay. The grass on the Tee boxes, fairways and greens is a little long but not terrible. The course was wet and soggy the morning we played. Bunkers are unplayable. Course routing is very strange and easy to get lost. All in all it's a good course just to get some practice and where you can play at any pace you want.
Emerald course could be a gem !
Emerald course could be a gem if it was maintained. Beautiful surroundings but terribly manicured. Traps had no sand but did have knee high weeds !! Greens were very chopped up too. I’d stick to the Blue and Gold courses and avoid the Emerald...even for $10 !!
Cow Pasture
Sand traps completely in disarray, covered in weeds, rough not maintained, clover so bad you cant find your ball. They should have put money into maintaining the two 18 hole courses they have instead of creating an extra 9 hole course
