(Sept. 12, 2005) - I lived in Beach Park when Thunderhawk Golf Club was opened and play the course a couple times a year when we go home to visit family.

I think the author of the course review missed the point of the 12th and 14th holes in the design and would question if he played the course. the 12th is a very difficult driving hole because you have to play a draw off the tee to position yourself for your second shot. The 14th plays short but rewards position rather than length. A welcome relief from three par 5s on the back. One should alway's play the 18th from the black tees to its fullest distance of 600 yards, making it one of hardest holes in the area.
