This course is a big reason Pekin's golf team consistently ranks near the top of Illinois High School golf. It is also the course where D.A. Points learned to play. It is a difficult yet fair challenge that doesn't let one get away with too many mistakes. It is always in impeccable condition, and depending on the weather, the greens can be brutally fast making any putt from above the hole a probable 3 putt if missed.

If you are looking for a course south of Chicago to add to your favorites, skip Weaver Ridge (boring and too expensive) and play Lick Creek. I promise you will not be disappointed, well except with your score. ;)

Wow what a course. I found you either hit it straight or you'll be in the trees the whole time. Deffantly a challenging course if your looking for one.
