- After the front 6 holes, this course is great. If you play the course, you'll know exactly what I mean. The first six are straight, easy, and pretty standard. But, after that, you cross the road and start playing golf. The course lengthens out and tightens up. From that point, you need to bust out some craft in order to not embarass yourself. In fact, look around for a cat name Booth. He's a staple at the club. He'll be the one hitting 180 yard soft flares off the tee, leaving himself a solid three wood into most par 4s. That's best case scenario. If he happens to end up with an iron, you can bank on seeing at least 4 hosel rockets up the right rough before hitting his 56 degree wedge on. Good luck!
