- This beautiful course is carved out of a wooded parcel of land within the Paul Douglas Forest Preserve. It is very wide open with thick mature turf throughout its greens and fairways. Billy Casper Management took over the daily operations several years ago and restored this lovely course back to its intended level of playablity. It is a large course with big tee boxes, generous fairways, massive bunkers, and enormous greens. A great place for higher handicaps as it is easy to keep the ball in play. Water on a few holes, but very much in play when present. A real challange at nearly 7,000 yards from the tips, it provides an exciting, challenging, and rewarding test for all skill levels.
