Grayslake Golf Course
About
Grayslake Golf Course is a sporty par-3, nine-hole layout that has appeal for golfers of all skill levels. It's a great place for beginners or juniors who want to get some practice but it's also a quick, affordable round for more seasoned golfers. No matter what skill level, you'll get plenty of practice with your short game. The golf course is only 1,200 yards in length but you can still expect strategically placed bunkers and berms along the subtly undulating greens. The holes range from 100 to 165 yards in length. Grayslake Golf Course weaves through protected wetlands. The water is deftly incorporated into the design. The mounding is also a defining feature of the course. Not only do they add interest to each putt but they can also defect slightly errant shots back toward the target.

First Time Playing Course
I was totally surprised at how nice this 9 hole par 3 was. I love the layout and the excellent condition of the greens. Bob, the gentleman who checked me in was a delight to talk to. He was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely play there again.
Cool par 3 course but…
This is a really cool par 3 course with some hills and tall grass, water hazards and bunkers. It’s not your basic par 3. The issue I find is the holes are really close together and I’d imagine that when the course is busy, any errant shot could prove dangerous for others on the course. I accidentally hit one a little left and would have nailed a person on the previous tee if the course was full.
Beautiful setting
Beautiful course and perfect for the wife who just started golfing.
A course for your short game
I will learn to read the details better. I didn't realize that cart included was a hand cart. There are no raiding carts available. You don't need to bring you driver or Woods The longest hole is 165 from the blue tees. I have also never seen where a single green is shared by two holes
Great par 3 for iron work with challenging hazards
Almost every hole is a unique layout with distances ranging from 100 to about 165 yards. Great place to practice with your irons. Staff is extremely friendly no matter who is working. 16 dollars for a non-resident with good pace of play (unless you’re behind the league) is extremely good value for the money.
Awesome
This well maintained, challenging par -3 is a awesome choice
Nice little course but overpriced
I really enjoy playing this course but the cost is too much. $19 for 9 holes on a Sunday unless you reside in Grayslake. I live 2 miles away in Round Lake Beach so I pay full price. They also do not offer any military discounts. I've watched this course have less and less cars in the parking lot when there are other options in the area to play for a better value
