Very reasonable club membership and greens fees. Due to the rough and water on front nine, course can be a challenge for high to mid handicap golfers. Great course to walk with lots of great scenery and wildlife Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good place to work on your game..

There are no holes that are too easy or too hard. The golf course is very scenic in a rural setting, and the golfers do not run into golfers on other holes due to the design.

The club has a waiting list, so the course is not overcrowded.

This is my favorite golf club in Chicago area because I like interesting holes in a scenic area, and the golf is not disrupted by slow play.

Private, can play as guest of member. A stiff challenge from the tour tees, a good challenge from the blues. Always in fine condition. Extra hard when the rough is up. Greens on the slow side. Ownership is more than accomodating. No alcohol. Sister club is Old Wayne in West Chicago.
